Having backgrounds in both Massage Therapy and Sports Medicine, I have a thorough understanding of the human body and its healing and aging process. At Balanced Fusion, I push the limits of your body to get the results most people don't even know exists. Most people who find themselves suffering look to surgery, injections and medications for the answer. While they have their place, why jump to such extremes when natural therapies can be just as, if not more effective. Massage therapy has traditionally been seen as a method for relaxation and luxury, but not much more. I am here to change that. Massage and bodywork are powerful tools that can expedite the healing process, assist in preventing injuries, and help to keep you in consistently better health.
I use the term Integrated Bodywork Techniques because massage does not describe accurately what it is that I do. I take theories from every modality I learn and combine them to appropriately treat each patient. No two sessions are the same. My work can be intense depending on physical condition, treatment goals and stage of injury. I encourage every patient to make the most of their session after they leave by drinking plenty of water, taking epsom salt baths, and participating in recommended home stretches and exercises. You, as the patient, are the most important factor in your healing process. You must be willing to make the necessary adjustments to find permanent changes in your daily life.
Muscle tension, stiff joints, aches, and pains should not be a part of your everyday life. Never settle for "getting used to it." If stress, tension and pain are holding you back or slowing you down, I encourage you to make an appointment and see if I can help make a difference.
